I’m thrilled to announce that a portion of the proceeds from my speaking engagements as well as from the sale of my book will proudly benefit the Bill Clement Foundation. I’ve been involved with dozens and dozens of wonderful charitable organizations over the past three decades and am very proud of the fact that I’ve played a small part in helping to raise millions of dollars for those causes.
When I started writing my book, I wanted to focus on a couple of causes that are extremely near and dear to me and my family. As such, the Bill Clement Foundation’s mission is to help find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis and to serve those with Down Syndrome, each of which touches two of my four children.
Christa was diagnosed with MS more than 10 years ago. In addition to being a very successful CPA accountant (CGA in Canada) in Ottawa, she is an incredible mother to our adorable grandchildren.
Regan, like Christa, is one of the greatest lights in our lives. She was born with Down Syndrome and I like to refer to her as the “Pied Piper" of New Hope, our adopted hometown in Pennsylvania. Regan bags groceries at the local supermarket and EVERYBODY knows her and just adores her. She’s like a local celebrity, always smiling and making others feel good about themselves. What a gift.
All of our children (including our actress, Savannah and our son, Chase) are amazing people and I feel so blessed to be their father. As such, I’m determined to make a difference in their lives and truly appreciate your support.
